New video search engine launched
Consumers posting videos online may now have the convenience of better search engine optimisation rewarded, thanks to a new video search engine.
Vtap has the ability to search through 150 million web videos, on a wide range of sites through link building, as well as allowing users to create their own profile which can alert them when a new relevant video is posted.
Founder of Veveo Murali Aravamudan told Webuser magazine: "Video is the future of the mobile internet - users will soon turn to video, not text, for the majority of their entertainment and information needs."
The search engine can also find videos on the move, as it can be used on mobile-enabled devices as the "next generation of web video experience for mobile customers," as well as those search on a computer or laptop.
Veveo, which developed the engine, was founded by Mr Aravamudan and Murali Aravamudan, who have since worked with companies such as IBM and Motorola.
